Questions and answers

You can ask us anything about online bingo. Thats right! Ask as anything, and we’ll findthe answer for you, if humanly possible … and maybe even if it isn’t. Just send your question to: askusanything@funbingosites.com and we’ll answer your question. If you wish a private answer, please note so in the email.

Here is a sample of some questions we’ve been asked so far.

Asked and answered

Each week we get asked bingo questions through our “ask us anything” service. We select one of these questions as our Question of The Week and instead of answering it privately like we usually do, we also answer it on the front page. Here you can find our former Questions of the Week.

“How does a no deposit bonus work?”

No deposit bonus is something a bingo site offers to allow players try playing there with zero risk. These bonuses are basicly free money you can play with after you register.

To benefit from a no deposit bonus just visit a site currently offering one, register and start playing! Thats all theres to it.

You can find no deposit bonuses from our no deposit bonus list.

“How exactly is bingo played?”

It couldn’t be any easier. Before a bingo game starts a winning pattern is decided and shown to all players. You buy some bingo cards that have a grid of numbers on them. Then numbered balls are randomly drawn. When a number on a drawn ball matches one on your bingo card, that number is marked (online this is done automatically).

When a player can form the winning pattern on her card with marked numbers, she gets a bingo - and wins the jackpot!

It is even simpler than it sounds. Just try a game or two (for free!) at Bingo Drome and see for yourself. And don’t worry - chat masters are always happy to help you out, if you have any questions.

“I’m interested in online bingo, but how do I get help if something goes wrong?”

You can get help several different ways. Number one thing is to contact your chat master. CMs are found in your bingo sites chat rooms (just start a private chat with the CM), but they can also be reached via clicking “live chat help” button at the site’s home page.
For those not-so-urgent questions each bingo site we recommend also offers email support. Just click help on the site’s front page and send mail to the help adress listed.
Some sites, like Vic’s Bingo, also offer toll free telephone help, which also is a great way to get the help you need.

“What are the progressive jackpots I see often at online bingo sites?”

Each time you buy a bingo card, a little bit of the price you paid is put aside to a special jackpot. These progressive jackpots are accumulated over a long period of time, which leads to huge amounts of cash. To win these progressive jackpots, you need to do something special - usually to call bingo within a set number of calls.

“I just won a huge jackpot!! How can I get the money to myself so I can go shopping ?!?!”

Wow! Congrats! Bingo is fun, but winning is even more fun, lol.

Go to banking options at your chosen bingo site. Click withdraw, and follow instructions. If you use Neteller, choose to withdraw with it, otherwise choose to draw by check.
Now here comes the important part: withdrawing is not immediate. You need to wait for a few days to get your money. This may sound annoying, but actually the time is spent checking and double checking that the winnings are paid to the correct person - You.
Sometimes when you win big, the site asks you to write a small story of how you won, which is posted on the bingo sites front page. If they ask for this, be polite and write it - I and many other players enjoy reading those small stories!

“I found a great bingo site, but how do I deposit?!”

Depositing can indeed sometimes be a bit tricky. You can find information about depositing in our articles section, but an even easier way of dealing with depositing is just asking your chat master. Thats right Marisa, after you have registered to the site your interested in, just ask the chat master. CMs know just about everything about online bingo, and can give you live step by step instructions on how to deposit!

“Some bingo sites require that I download and some don’t. Which kind should I choose???”

Thanks for your question! Some sites really do require that their players download their bingo software to their computers and some don’t. Both ways have their benefits. Downloadable games are usually easier and faster to use, plus they are more convenient when you play at the same site for longer time. On the other hand it easier to quickly see what it’s like to play at a site if no download is needed, plus no download is favored by players who enjoy playing bingo from the office during lunch time.

In the end I would say that just choose a bingo site that intrigues you. Don’t worry about whether you need to download or not!

“What happens if I get disconnected during a game, or I really have to go and don’t have time to finish the bingo game I’m playing?”

Thanks for the question! Unfortunate disconnection or really having to go are things that don’t ruin your game, because all our recommended sites share the same policy on these cases: If either thing happens, your cards will be played automatically for you. If you are lucky and get a bingo, your winnings will be paid to you as if you had been playing.
